Are vaccinations a Rquirement?
Shouldn't vaccination records be required especially if other dogs are in the sitters home?

Vaccination requirements vary by state and local municipality. Rover cannot establish nationwide standards due to the differences. Each sitter on Rover sets his/her own requirements, which at a minimum should conform to local requirements. Many sitters require more than the bare minimum and may ask for documentation.
When selecting a sitter, you should review his/her profile and discuss vaccination requirements, especially if the sitter accepts more than one dog at a time,
They aren't required to book through Rover, but sitters can individually require them, or if you are a sitter, you can ask for the records before booking.

I always have them bring me the vac record, if they do not have them then ask for the vet phone number call the vet and ask for the vac current shots. You want to make sure #1 Parvo All 3 shots have been given for puppies in the cycle to prevent parvo .
Also, BordaTella Huge!!! It prevents Kennel cough !!! One dog comes in to board and has a cough and any dog that does not have a Borda then they all get it pre vent it from coming in and out of your home!
Rabie!!!! Always make sure a dog coming to board has a Rabies shot! this is a yearly shot to keep a animal from going rabid! if a wild animal is it bite it or a another dog whom got bit by a animal.
Flea Treatment.... One dog has fleas then you will have another dog and then another dog. then your house ,carpet ,rugs ,beds and so on.......
De wormer........ always make sure you deworm your dogs every 3 months to prevent worms. dogs will eat others dogs poop and then another dog will have worms ,children can get worms from dogs, always keeps up with your dog dewormer .
