How is the Rover charge for a booking calculated?
just wondering. Probably somewhere on site but I can't find it.

Rover takes 15% off the gross amount of the booking for ALL services.

They've also instituted a fee for customers, but it doesn't come out of your amount.
If you go to your Dashboard and click on Payment History (in green under your Rover balance), you will see all your jobs, with the payments broken down and showing Rover's fees.
