Are Meet & Greets necessary for repeat clients?

A lot of my clients will just hire me on any time after the initial stay and leave the key somewhere for me outside the home. They don't request another Meet&Greet. I'm not necessarily complaining. I don't mind this at all. But is it typically in the best nature for the dog to do the Meet&Greet again? Is this something I should be suggesting for EVERY stay, even repeat clients?

No, you don't need a M&G for your repeat clients. You have already met them.

I haven't heard of doing a meet and greet prior to every repeat stay, simply before every new stay is advised. If it has been a long time since you had a stay with someone, and you are going into their home, you could always ask to drop by and get reacquainted with the dogs ahead of time to ensure they are polite to you. I don't think it's necessary though if all has gone well in the past.

Thank you! I was thinking along those lines too. I just wanted to confirm that that is a good plan.

The only reasons I could see doing another M&G is if significant time has passed since the first stay, if the location is new and you need a new tour, or if something is different medically or behaviorally with one of the animals. Even these changes wouldn't always necessitate another M&G as a lot of it could be explained in messages or over the phone, but I could see it being useful on occasion. It's certainly nothing I've come across.
