will rover add exotic animlas? or will it strictly be dogs and cats?

I'm thinking Rover isn't going to want to add a plethora of categories (so many individual animals) to their website. Maybe they would be willing to put in something general, like "large animal" for those sitters who take care of horses and livestock, and "other small animal" to cover the multitude of pets like what you named. Hopefully they would be willing to break that down into "small mammal", "bird", "reptile", etc.

I just got off the phone with Rover. Exotic animals are NOT included in Rover insurance- no fish, reptiles, farm animals, etc. she did say "birds might be covered." After talking to a supervisor.
That would be a good question for Rover support. When you hear back, let us all know!
