Does anyone have problems getting into your rover account sometimes? [closed]

Sometimes I have a problem getting into my rover account. I don't know if the system is updating at that time but it is very frustrating when I am trying to respond to a customer. I can get into other websites so it isn't my server connection.

Also, have any of you had customers getting frustrated with the rover system with all the updates and "robot" or "auto-changes" to your account?

I am starting to get comments from my customers. I guess when you reach your "dog max" the "robot" takes you/me off line. I have several repeat customers and they have call me directly to contact me to send them the booking - dates after some of my dogs have been picked up and I have the availability. This is keeping - besides my regular customers - potential new customers and referrals from contacting me through rover. I had one potential customer I personally connected with and told them to go to my profile and send a request, find a pet sitter not with rover because I "wasn't available". Another customer -from out of town -that I hadn't pet sat for almost a year - when I was with SleepoverRover - get very frustrated because they couldn't connect with customer service to set up the new "rover account". I had to send customer service the information and request they call the customer and help them. For me this is Very Frustrating. I see this "auto-robotic" causing poor customer service.

I don't have an answer, but would add a word of caution that booking for dates other than when dogs are there will likely pose problems with insurance and support should you ever need it, It sounds like your best bet is to request/appeal to Rover to raise the max. limit of dogs you can care for.

I probably didn't say it clearly. Even though I am "booked", my repeat customers will contact me - not for that day that I am booked - but for a few days later when I am not booked. The can not go in and send a request because rover blocks access. They usually tell me their next pet sit dates needed and when I had control of my account I would make sure I saved their space. I do not want to over book. From several years experience I know what I can handle.

I haven't had any issues, but if you are on a mobile device, make sure you down load the app and try going through the app.

You can change your settings to say you take more dogs than you actually do, then they can still send you requests & if you are booked full you can just respond saying sorry I am booked. Once you are booked you don't even show up as a sitter.
