Hi there! I just adopted a dog from TX, and unfortunately have to work 3 days a week. Since I don't want to leave him alone just yet, would any of you be willing to stay w/ him during the day at our house?

He is a friendly Great Pyrenees who loves people, and is 4 years old. He doesn't bark, and he looooves hugs. Plus he's just super cute. It would be for October 27,29,30(T/R/F), and November 3,5,6(T/R/F). It would involve a walk and some crate training(will give instructions), but mostly just hanging out and reinforcing good stuff w/ treats.

Hi Rachel,

This is messageboard for discussing dog and sitting questions. If you go up to the top of the page, you will see a link to Search Sittrers, which accesses the main Rover site. You will need to enter a city or zipcode, then you can filter the results down for a "traveling" sitter, which is one who would visit your dog several times a day, the number of times per day to be determined. You should contact a few sitters and set up appointments to meet them, so you can discuss your dog's needs. There are many sitters on Rover and many with special skills. You should be able to find someone to do the visits. Whether they offer training may be another issue, but some do. Good luck!

Adding to Karen's answer, "House Sitting" is now shown on the right. Under "Services", you can check Dog Walking and/or Dog Day Care, depending if you prefer sitters that provide will walk your dog or prefer someone hang out/stay at your home while you're out during the day.
