What if the dog owner wants to pay direct?

What if you have a person who wants to pay you in person rather than on the computer? Is there any way to enter it from the sitters account?

They must pay through Rover, they can't pay cash or check (although, as Deb said, they can pay through rover over the phone if they'd like). The reason why they pay through Rover is so that you both get insurance coverage through Rover. If you are caught allowing a client to pay outside of Rover your account could be suspended. So it's really for everyone's safety and benefit.

If the person doesn't want to or can't use the computer for the payment, another option is to have the dog owner call Rover Support and have payment processed over the phone. Then, everyone will still get the great coverage and support from Rover.com

Hi Leona! See https://www.rover.com/community/quest... For better or worse, sitters are not allowed to accept payment outside of Rover.com. My understanding is that tips are allowed.
