Will you get boarding request through text ?
I was contacted through text for a boarding. Ive never met them and their info says they are from out of state. How do you know this isnt a scammer

If it’s coming from Rover, you will see it came from the rover number with Rovers format/language and you will get another one with Rovers link at the same time. Example is “boarding request: drop off: (date time) pick up (date time) will you be available to sit rover dog on this date?”
To determine if it’s a legitimate out-of-state boarding request, use the messages & the rover assigned phone numbers to anonymously communicate and have conversations about their needs and their pet.
