I have Rover set up so that it adds a calendar of my bookings to my Google calendars. I'm wondering if it's possible to add items to that calendar? Every time I've added something by going into Google and selecting the calendar and adding an event, it always ends up disappearing later, I assume when the calendar refreshes. Is it possible to add events to Rover's Google calendar from outside of Rover?
Clarifying question: Are items synced from Rover disappearing from your Google calendar? That was happening to me until I re-synced my Google/Rover accounts. If that's not the case, here's my answer as I understand it -
You cannot alter items on your Google calendar that originated from Rover.
You CAN alter your Google calendar by going through Rover and making the changes there.

Last month, I was trying to add "Renew Craigslist Post" to my Rover calendar by opening my google calendar. It would add the event successfully, but then when I looked at my calendar later, it was gone. I am assuming it disappeared whenever the calendar synced. Do you know if there is a way to keep the events I add?
I have added "Renew Craigslist Post" to my Google calendar as well, but I did it through Google, not Rover. Through Google it's easy to have it repeat every 2 days. Let me know if you need help making that happen!
Carmen - That's exactly what I did. I opened my Google calendar, clicked on one of the days to add an event. Added an event titled "Renew Craigslist Post," and set it on repeat. A few days later when I realized I didn't get a reminder, I went back to check it and it was gone. This happened 3 times.
That's a Google issue. When you set it to repeat did you set it to end on a certain day or after a certain number of events? Otherwise it will only repeat once.
