How do I stop Rover from Ripping Me Off?

So I had a dog walker come this week for one session. (She did an excellent job.) Rover has charged me THREE times and my walker has received nothing. There seems to be no way to contact Rover directly. Anybody know how to reach an actual person at customer service?

This is the central question for anyone dealing with Rover. The answer seems to be that there is no way to avoid being ripped off in one way or another. The company is a fraudulent scam.

Call Customer Support [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team] This number is usually provided at time of booking after confirming total $ amount booked. If there’s an error, such as same booking mistakenly booked twice, they can refund.

Re. The sitter - their payment is not until minimum 2-3 days After the last booked date. This delay provides time In case/IF the pet owner reports any issue or complaint about the service, it allows Rover to seek out more information prior to payout. A pet owner can view rover as acting in a role similar to an escrow company, holding the funds, before disbursement or credit applied.

I have provided Rover services for two weeks now (different customers)..I never did get paid for one and the latest has said “pending payment” for over a week. My clients were charged and their money was taken..but was never given to me!
Starting to think this is a scam!

I talked to customer service and they've refunded me the extra charge for a visit didn't happen. But I still think it's very sleazy that they charge me a week in advance for services and then only pay my dog walker a week after she's provided the service.
