What's the Rover policy for taking dogs on adventures?

Hi!

I just had a potential new client reach out to me about booking daily walks. In the past, I've always gone to the client's home and walked the dogs in their neighborhood. But this client said her dog enjoys excursions to local parks and beaches.

What's Rover policy regarding pet sitters taking client dogs on adventures out side of their neighborhoods? This would involve transporting the dog in my car and part of the scheduled visit would be spent driving rather than just walking the dog.

Thanks for your feedback!

Rover doesn't have a policy. You don't work for Rover. You have to decide for yourself if you want to do this and assume the additional , potential liability.

You would likely be assuming extra liability if anything should occur. It’s great that the owner let you know that their dog likes excursions. It’s entirely up to you if you want to offer that service.
