Set More Specific Range of Dog Weights?

Currently Rover has the following dog weight options for hosting

  • 0-15 pounds
    • 16-40 pounds
    • 41-100 pounds
    • 101+ pounds

Is there any way I can change this to be more specific?

41 to 100 pounds is a big range and I don't understand why Rover has done it this way. I might be okay with 50 and 60 pound dogs, but 70, 80, 90 pounds might be too much.

And please do not suggest that I should just select 41-100 and only accept dogs that are under 70 pounds or something like that. This should be built into Rover. No one wants to find a sitter that says they watch up to 100 pounds of dog only to be told they really only prefer up to 70 pounds.

Sorry but the default weights are what you get and can't be changed

We all ought to request this feature and then they will change it.

As Walt wrote, there's nothing that can be done. I accept dogs who weigh up to 20 lbs but am not going to check the box for the next weight category. You just have to work with it.

If enough of us request this feature, Rover will add it. It's a valid and important feature that needs to be added.

Sorry, Merlin, but Rover hardly ever does anything that sitters want or need. It only does things that increase its revenue stream.
