Eating with mommy?

asked 2021-07-15 20:36:20 -0500

So I was wondering if dogs can eat banquet Salisbury steaks. My like 1 year old chihuahua just loves eating what her mommy eats so I gave her a scoop of my SSR (Salisbury steak and rice) she usually gets t one or two pieces of the steak along with the rice that has gravy on it. My dad said I shouldn't give it to her since it has onion in it but I looked at the ingredients and the box says that it has "2% or less" of the onions. So does that mean that it's ok to give her or no?

No. If you want to dine with your pup, cook up dog-friendly food in water (steam or boil) and don't add any spices, seasonings, or oil.

Most savory prepared meals have onion powder added. Onions are toxic to dogs.
