My dog is not feeling well & eating properly. What am I supposed to do?

My dog is not feeling well since a week now, he’s weak, doesn’t eat anything properly,. I am really worried now as I have recently moved here - brookside, kansas and Trevor had a vet in New jersey but not around here. What am I supposed to do?

I'd suggest that your dog should be seen by a vet to ensure there isn't a problem that can be remedied.

When you call nearby vets, ask about an introductory special - a lot of vets offer a first get-to-know-the-pet (when well) exam for free or at a reduced cost. Also, you may want to consider one of the plans offered through the vets either at Petco or Petsmart. They have basic wellness plans, which can offset all the usual expenses, as well as incident&injury plans which may be worthwhile (depending on your pup, as it costs more).

You should visit a vet asap, and meanwhile try to feed him something - water, broths, anything he might like. I can totally understand your situation right now, I have a golden retriever - Samuel, and he was also suffering from these weird allergies a couple of weeks ago, thankfully I was able to find a vet for him quickly. But as far as your case is considered, I think if you don’t have any vet, you can search for one on the internet, either directly in Google or via some platform like http://greatvet.com - it’s an online vet directory and all you need to do is enter your zip code and you can see all the https://www.greatvet.com/lists/top-vets-kansas-city (vet clinics in your area), even in Kansas City. You can also connect with them via video call or maybe in person too.
