what to do if you get bit by dog you are pet sitting?

I was just bitten by a small dog I am sitting. it was one finger but it is very painful and and cracked my finger nail and finger is part numb. I have it on ice. But do I contact owners and what do I say? I am not at home now but will be going back around 6 pm. Help

I would first contact the owner to notify them of the bite, second I would call the Rover Trust and Safety team to report the incident 888-727-1140. And finally, I would seek medical attention. Sorry to hear you were bitten and that you recover quickly.
