My dog is a small breed mix silky terrier and was so sick last year with stomach issues. He was just very sick a few days ago with the same issue and his vet pointed out to me looking at his chart that she saw him on the same date 8/25 for stomach issues. He's my first dog and I thought it was odd. Anyone?
While there are lots of doggie knowledgable folks in this forum I doubt anyone can provide you any information on what may be going on with your pup; your vet is your best resource. Best of luck.

I noticed the tag separation anxiety&anxiety above. If you keep a calendar, you may want to consider reviewing for a pattern. Were you away-just returned around both of those times or any other changes in the household, routine, or diet?
Certainly, you could ask your vet if she had any thoughts or suggestions.
I wasn't away either of those times just busyness of the summer. He'll be seeing his vet next month, she already knows about it but def. a physical checkup would me feel a lot better =D
Could be allergy season or some plant that only blooms during that time of year.
