Hi Autumn,

What you are describing is the Boarding service, which should be considered an all-inclusive "nightly" rate for taking care of your dog. That should include all feeding, walks, cuddles, and play time. At least that is what I provide. No a la carte add-ons, except perhaps transportation. Rover defines each "night" of boarding as good for up to 24 hours of care. Each sitter may administer that differently (e.g., have specific drop-off and pick-up windows) so you will need to ask the prospective sitters you interview during the Meet & Greet stage. That way they will ensure your invoice reflects the full time for the services performed. As for that one day and how it would be charged, once again, that will depend on the sitter. The number of hours over is how I determine what the final "day" charge will be. In my case, if it is over 8 hours,, then the client gets billed for a full day. When the dog gets dropped off, starts the clock. But that's how I administer it. Every sitter on Rover is independent and can run their business however they'd like, using Rover only as a platform for getting clients. So it is best to read sitters' profiles carefully and reach out to a few to not only ask questions but visit where your dog will be staying to ensure there are no surprises.

Good luck!
