Am I Spoiling My Puppy?

I've had my puppy for 2 months hes 4.5 months now. I let him on the bed with me but he doesn't sleep with me. He sleeps in the same room on his own bed. He has plenty of toys that I do not restrict but I do restrict him from chews (only on good behavior) but recently I've noticed. He'll be extremely hyper and running around the room, tossing the toys but as soon as I pick him up and let him on the bed or in my lap he falls asleep. He immediately calms down and just snuggle up and sleep. Is it a sign that I am spoiling him?

Another note, when he started getting hyper, I also started taking him on longer walks/ more time in the off leash dog park playing fetch/ running with other dogs. But even after walking/playing for 1-2 hours, he will still be hyper until I put him in his crate where he falls asleep or in my lap. Otherwise he would still be running around my place.

I believe you are NOT spoiling your pet! Every dog is spoiled in their own way and that is how it should be. Overall your pet Is your kid! I think your dog is just in his puppy stage that they will soon grow out of!

No, you are not spoiling him. He is just a puppy. Our pitbull was hyper for at least 1.5 yr- she still is at the beach. Puppies have the hyper and sometimes, anxious phase. You are fine. He is just in his puppy phase- have fun while he's still at it :)
