[Breeds] Best Small Dogs for Families with a Toddler?

I’ve been researching dog breeds that are the best fit for our family. We want a small dog because we don’t have a gigantic yard or a huge house. They need to be a good mix with small children, as I have 3 kids aged 2, 4 and 6. Often when I research the breeds from lists of small dogs for children, they will say things about being great for kids over 6 or 8 or teens, not small children. Any recommendations on small breeds that are good with toddlers? https://100001.onl/ https://1921681254.mx/ https://happymod.site/

My schnoodle is amazing with kids specifically toddlers. Our last schnoodle who has since passed also did very well with kids. The schnauzer breed is great

But just from my own time to time hobby of knowing all the different breeds of dogs, heard bichon frise is always pretty much on the list for kid friendly dogs.

Also, from my experience, I love my maltese very much, but... maltese are not kid friendly... whenever kid guests came over at my house my late dog got jealous when the kids were at my house and get really tired after the kids left my house lol

Find a breed you feel drawn to and that the overall breed standard meets your wants and put research into reputable breeders that focus on temperament/behavior and health versus just looks. Being able to see how the potential parents act in different situations and seeing the effort put into socializing the puppies at an early age will make a huge impact on bringing up a stable dog. Of course you can also look into rescues where the dogs have been temperament tested or where you can schedule a meet and greet with your kids along! Lots of options out there!
