Found dog, Nashville area?

Firefighter came up to me on a dog walk today and said someone dropped off a young looking dog - saw the dog and got a couple photos, but I hesitate to give description in case someone just wants to pick up a free dog and want to make sure he gets home safe. I know pets in the area have been stolen this way before so that's why I'm hesitant. Don't know if there are lost/found boards on Rover but I have yet to find any. Firefighter said they've posted on nextdoor at the very least. If any sitters or owners in the area know of a family missing a pup, send them this way with a description of the dog!

Sorry, but Rover doesn't have any such facility. NextDoor is the place for that. I see notices all the time about lost pets in my area. Also, there is probably a place on Facebook as well.

Go to a local Veterinarians office and have the dog checked for a microchip, and Contact your local shelter.
