When house sitting is booked, dog boarding option still shows up as available?

I am booked for house sitting in a few weekends from now, but I went to update my calendar and it shows that I have spots for dog boarding still available. Obviously I will not be able to house sit and dog board at the same time. Is there anyway to change this setting to when I am booked for house sitting, dog boarding then becomes unavailable and vice versa?

I agree! It’s terrible that I have to manually manage both. It’s time consuming and leads to mistakes.

You can manually edit services as well as number of spaces available https://support.rover.com/hc/en-us/arti…

As Deb wrote, it has to be done manually. While your logic about not being able to house sit and board simultaneously makes perfect sense, I would think that having it built into the system wouldn't work for all. There's no single definition for how all Rover sitters perform house sitting. I would bet that, because some don't stay overnight at the home or share responsibilities for pet care with others in their household, they are able to accept jobs for both. I have no idea how many have this capability, but Rover would respond that manually maintaining a calendar is the sitter's responsibility and Rover wouldn't want to dictate how each sitter runs his/her own business.
