Is something broken on this board??

A few things, I have email notifications turned on for this board as I like to try and help and the number of questions being asked has gone to almost zero lately, this means Rover has stopped moderating and releasing questions? Also another group member posted a question yesterday and I got the email but their question does not appear at all in the forum feed. Is Rover planning on sunsetting this board?? Reply if you see this

Thank you for bringing this up! Yes, I can see your post, and it's in the list of questions. I mailed Rover about my issue and they seemed to be evasive about it. I'm responding to them because they did not answer my question.

Morning, I think your question was held before posting even though I saw it via email. I've been on this board for years and my questions usually are posted immediately

I'm not sure it was held up because I (think) I posted one yesterday with immediate display. Will try now to see what happens.....

Can you see the one I just posted?

I have emailed them about the board and called. The person I spoke with said that I couldn't speak to anyone else. What kills me is that their answers don't answer my questions. They seem to have boilerplate language, one size fits all.

I've even looked up (and have) contact info for their Chief Technology Officer but haven't had the nerve to write him.

Awaiting a reply. True, answers seem to be due to either lack of knowledge/desire to act, or intentional stalling.

I think the last communication I received from them was something about joining the Facebook group and not the other sitter forum that was has been mentioned here but seems to have been similarly abandoned. Pretty pathetic IMO.

It is. I can't stand the FB sites. They're either admin power plays or people just waiting to attack the contents of the newest post. You have to 'wade through the garbage' to find something valuable..not worth it IMO.

I just want to have nothing to do with FB, given all the issues with privacy, etc.

This might sound really dumb, but I can’t figure out how to post my own question on the forum. Can someone tell me how?

I don't know if the community boards are the responsibility of the technology or the marketing departments. If marketing is in charge, then the recent press release link below may be of interest: https://www.rover.com/blog/press-rele... PR news mentions Technology + Marketing background

Thanks for the link. From there, I looked over the Team page and my choices for responsibility would be (in order) the CTO or the COO. At least, that is how it would play out in a normal organization.

This is my first day trying the board and I can’t even get the search to work or see how to post a new thread

I posted a test question to see if my responses are immediately posted, and they are. I then edited it to reflect the contents of the topic posted (which can't be seen). Not sure why the original question failed to post. This board definitely needs some attention and an upgrade.
