Skype Meet & Greet for Last Minute Request?
A new client is booking with me due to their other sitters dog not getting along with their new puppy. They are previous Rover users for their other dogs - I confirmed they used it once a few years ago. Currently they are extremely busy with wedding planning and their dog is set to come on Saturday. I am happy to sit for them, but we are coordinating schedules for meet & greet, and our times for the next few days before the booking starts are a little conflicting.
I was thinking of either having the meet and greet at my house (which I've done before), although I need to make sure they are ok with that, or suggesting a skype meeting (not something I've done before, but I want to make things flexible for my clients). A third option would be doing the meet and greet the day of, although I do not do that often. I understand some people have unforseen situations come up, and they could not avoid last minute booking requests, such as their previous plans not working out.
Thoughts? Would a skype appointment be too impersonal? I would only want to use this option for special circumstances.
Thank you!
