Promo Code Use
You can provide your promo code to any potential client for use on their first booking, just be sure they enter it before they finalize the booking request.
Thank you Walt. When I read the requirements I wasn't sure if they meant I could only use it if the owner found me thru my profile link on social media but could not use it if the owner found me directly through rover with no knowledge of my profile.
I used to feel the same! But I now am making the most of what Rover is offering. I mention the code in my profile info, when they contact me I tell them I'll give them the code at the MnG, and at the MnG I give them a sheet of info, promo code is on it. Of course they have to be 1st Rover users.

That is how I also understood it to mean until Walt explained. I guess they have changed their policy but it they did I did not see it.
What Sam commented is correct that you CANNOT send your code via the Rover messaging system, but it is cool to give your code at the M&G and for the client to use it on their first booking
