Where do dog ratings show up?

Rate (dog's name) > Public feedback. Your review will appear on your sitter's profile*" It concerns me that it says sitter's profile, since I was the sitter! Is this an incomplete/buggy feature on the site? I just completed my first dogsitting booking [yay!], and I am being asked to review the dog that stayed with me. I heard of this from the sitter who watched my dog a few weeks back. However, I have no clue where those reviews show up! It hasn't appeared on my dog's page, even though the guy said he left 5 stars for Whisky.

And the link I see to "Rate this Experience" takes me to a rating page that says:

Rate (dog's name)

Public feedback. Your review will appear on your sitter's profile*"

It concerns me that it says sitter's profile, since I was the sitter!

Is this an incomplete/buggy feature on the site? I'd love to see the ratings other sitters have given dogs~

No, it isn't a buggy thing. Sitters are not given access to prior reviews. Only Rover sees them. Your sentiments have been expressed here numerous times, and I would assume Rover is aware that sitters could potentially benefit from seeing how a dog behaves in another sitter's home. However, I'm guessing Rover fears that sitters may decline jobs due to information provided by a previous sitter. So it is not in their best interest to share that information.

Ahhh I see. It was just confusing because it said "Public Feedback. Your review will appear..." on the rating page. That is really odd, but I guess it's working as intended, but they just reused the same functionality for sitter-reviewing :P Thanks, Karen!

I guess I can understand hiding from new sitters [from Rover's monetary view]. But how about the owner not being able to see the reviews either? I'd love to see what they said about Whisky! I imagine owners could benefit from being able to see the reviews about their own dogs.

It may be a good idea to submit this concern directly to Rover support to help expedite a fix.
