Does Rover provide sitter in MY home for the day?

I need someone in my home for the day. What's the point in having someone come three or four times. I'm leaving at 5:00 a.m. and returning home at 11:00 pm. Silly to have them coming and going all day.

Many sitters who perform the traveling services, walks, drop-in's or house sits have clients during the day so it may be difficult to find a sitter who will stay in your home from 5A to 11P full time. You stand a better chance of finding a sitter who will perform multiple drop-ins during the day in accordance with your requirements. So start searching your area for sitters and thoroughly read their profiles as it is a good indicator of what services they offer when you find a few send them a booking request and start a dialog, you may even get lucky and find one who will stay in your home during the day/evening.. Best of luck

You can get someone to pet sit from 8 am to 5pm on a daily basis. Many pet sitters do that service; as a pet sitter, I've helped out owners doing this service. You should contact sitters in your area and see if they would do that. You may pay the overnight rate for their service.

Many sitters provide daycare in the sitter's home where you drop off the dog in the morning and pick them up in the evening; this is a service you can search for on Rover. Some sitters, like myself, also offer daycare in the owner's home, but it is not a designated service on Rover, so you have to look at each sitter's profile or ask each sitter you're interested in if they provide this service.

Judith, you need to search through the sitters and ask the ones you like if they would be available for "day sitting" instead of "house-sitting". I have never done it, but I would say that if you have a person staying in all day without the ability to leave, you may end up paying hourly, exactly the same way you would pay nanny to watch your children in your home all day. Many sitters also provide day-care in their home. But it's up to you to ask them.
