A regular dog client has suddenly started peeing in my house, any ideas?

I have a regular doggie visitor, she has probably been to my house 10+ visits and never peed in the house, she was great about going in the yard. She gets along great with my dog and is always eager to visit us. The last visit, she peed in the house twice. I was hoping it was a fluke, since it was a long 10 day visit, but she's back this weekend and peed in the house immediately, even though I took her out for a walk right away. I've tried leaving her out in the yard but she cries and barks and wants to be in the house. Any ideas why this is happening or what to do?

In addition to the possibility of her covering the scent of another dog, it could be a medical issue that the pet parents are unaware of. At some point (maybe in person upon return), I suggest nicely letting them know.

I assume you board other dogs so this one is probably smelling them and marking her territory. Since this is the second peeing incident I would consider putting a belly band on her to control the marking. Best of luck

I'm thinking possibly an ongoing urinary tract issue. You may want to ask the owners if they're seeing the same behavior, if so, it sounds like a vet trip may be in order.
