When does a dog house sitter do the meet and greet? It says he is out of town. Should I be nervous?

We Leave in a week and I have not heard anything from him yet.

I would search for another sitter to care for your pets while you are away if they have not responded to your booking request. Since it is now short notice you may also want to contact the Rover Match team at no cost to you @ [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. They responded back in June saying yes he would do it but not heard from him since.

If you haven't talked since June, I would dare to say he is not interested anymore or he forgot or something else came up. Considering you haven't paid him and haven't done a meet and greet with him, you should look for someone else.
