Rover definitely doesn't provide microchipping services and you can not get a chip installed with Rover.

As Carly says, a chip is not a tracking device. You have to buy a GPS collar if you want to do so.

Good luck finding your dog. Use petfinder, facebook etc or home again, depending where you got the chip registered.

I hope you registered the chip so if found the agency can locate you. I would reach out to all the local animal shelters and post in missing pets groups on Facebook and Nextdoor - hope you find your pup soon. Best of luck

I would contact Rover support. I wasn't aware they provided this service as I have never seen it advertised, but hopefully their support person can assist you.

However, microchips are not a GPS device - you can't "track" your dog using them. They get scanned if your pet is brought into a shelter or vet's office, and which point your contact information would be available to them to reach out to you. In the meantime you can call around to shelters or vets, post on local groups (facebook, craigslist, etc.) or put flyers up around the area your dog was lost.

I hope you find her soon!

So sorry your dog is missing. If the device you're using on your dog is a tracking device or your dog has a microchip (chip) embedded, you'll want to contact the company where it was purchased. The microchip company will list your dog as missing/lost.

If your dog has a tracking/GPS device, you'll want to log into their website or app on your phone or computer and see where your dog was last tracked.

And yes, as said in the other comment here, go to shelters, neighbors, local businesses in your neighborhood, everywhere and post flyers with a picture and description of your dog letting everyone know your dog is missing.

Sure hope you have already been reunited. Saying a prayer ...
