Do I mark a potential booking on my calendar?

I have my first Meet and Greet tomorrow! It will be for in my home boarding for a week. I don't want to accept another client during this week since this is for a puppy and it's my first but my calendar will show open until I get the booking, correct? What do you do in this in limbo stage?

Once you have a booking request your availability for the service during the dates will either take up a slot or show you unavailable. If you want to open up your availability, you have to archive the pending booking. Best of luck.
