I cannot find myself in the search results. What should I do?

Hi, I'm new at Rover and I still haven't any requests. I've tried to search for myself but I didn't appear in the results. Can you guys help me? Thanks

It looks like you're not offering Boarding, which is Rover's top requested service and also is the default when doing a search. The user would have to first change the service type to House Sitting, Walks, or Visits. Otherwise, the results will show many pages of sitters who offer boarding and probably the other services too. My search yielded 24 pages (x20 per page) House Sitters and 16 pages (x20/page) Dog Walkers. So, with that level of competition, you really need to stand out - and probably promote your services beyond the .com platform.

Your calendar needs to be fixed, as it shows you're not available on Saturdays and Sundays, (and some other days also excluded which vary depending on the service type) but your profile states "I'm available on Tuesdays after 3pm, Fridays after 5pm and weekends all day." With limited availability, it will probably reduces your booking volume.

Many times if you search Rover while being logged into the site you won't find yourself, try a private session. However, I peeked at your profile and noticed several things you must address:

Your service area is set too small for walks and drop-ins You need more testimonials, 1 won't cut it Take and pass the Rover 101 quiz and get the badge it is important

And as Deb mentioned what you have in your about me section and calendar about availability will not lead to clients picking you. Best of luck
