New to Rover- First client without meet and greet for a few hours, should I invite in/walk?

I accepted my first client (Technically second, but that is an extended stay that starts this weekend, we had a meet and greet yesterday that went well) that was a last minute daycare stay for same day, today. The dog is 9 years old and will be staying for about 5 hours while the owner goes out for dinner. Since it is the same day I did not ask for a meet and greet and neither did the owner. Am I expected to walk the dog during this stay even if it's short? Should I invite the owner in to look around as if it were a meet and greet or should I just take the dog at the door? Thank you.

That is all up to what the owner wants and what you are comfortable doing. Personally, I always invite new owners inside if they were unable to do a meet and greet. Some, especially last minute daycare clients, decline doing so if they are in a rush. But I always offer.

If the dog has access to a yard at your home, the owner may not need you to walk the dog. But that will be up to what they want.

Thank you. They stayed in the car for drop off and pickup and I did end up walking him for a bit because he was so energetic! It went well.
