Rover Pack Badge - Is Rover protection required?

On Rover's badge page, it says that Rover protection package subscription "earns you plenty of perks, including eligibility to add the Rover Pack badge (see below) to your profile too," which gives me the impression that the Rover protection package is required to apply for Rover pack badge, but I don't see this requirement listed anywhere else. Do I have to purchase Rover protection package to apply for the Rover pack badge?

Join the Rover Pack and get the badge that shouts out your expertise, experience, and close attention to sitter quality and performance. Many of Rover’s best sitters are members of the Rover Pack, and here’s how you can participate too:

• Display a high-quality profile, including a well-written description and at least three photos of yourself and your home.

• Complete at least 10 stays.

• Maintain an average rating of at least 4.5 stars.

• Present an availability calendar that’s consistently up to date.

• Respond to at least 90% of requests within 24 hours.

• If you meet these minimum requirements, apply to join the Rover Pack.
