how to handle professionally ?

So I have my first boarder ..Puppy is great however owners not so much when they dropped off they were 2 hours late as they decided to go to store and dinner first (no call) but that's not the real issue.. when they dropped off they mentioned would most likely be home a day earlier then scheduled... so when that day came I reached out to ask if they were planning on coming that day or on scheduled day and an approximate time.. They never responded till end of scheduled day that wanted to extend an extra day and would do so thru the site (which they have not) I responded immediately that the would be fine and again asked an approx. time to plan my day...and they have still not responded... I have been in touch with them daily per their requests with updates and photos and they have always ressonded till now... and i don't want to risk a bad review but I really need to know when they plan to pick up this puppy as I do have plans to work around lol

Do you have their cell number? I would try calling versus sending messages through the Rover system if thats what you've been doing. Sometimes it can be frustrating, but just make sure to be polite, and courteous and that will eliminate your concern about the review!

I agree with Amber, and if things don't resolve themselves once communication has resumed - who knows, there may be a legitimate reason for their lack of response - you may politely choose not to host their pup in the future.
