If the owners request that you drive the dog to a nearby park that takes 7 mins drivetime each way, does that count towards the 30 min walk and when do you start the rover card?

I still don't have a good option for this situation. I don't feel comfortable requesting cash from the customer for gas & by the time the owner comes to the door & chats for as long as I listen, then load up and drive slower than normal so the dog doesn't get tossed around a 30 min is over 1 hr.

Those are things to clarify with the owner before you confirm the booking. I would suggest you add on a small charge for the extra gas ($5?). You'd start the rover card as soon as you take the pup into your possession and end it when doggo is safely home and you are leaving. I wouldn't start the 'walk' timer until you're actually at the park, then end walk when you're back at the car.

When you start the Rover card the GPS kicks in and will track the entire trip to include the drive, there isn't a start walk timer?

I have a walk timer option, it's right next to care info and it's under the pee poo buttons on top. I do drop ins so maybe that's why? Anyway gps and a special walk timer starts if I click that.

Walt, I noticed the walk timer on drop-ins now but it has only showed up recently. It did not used to be there for me until maybe a week or two ago - so I haven't normally been using it.
