Why does my name not appear when I search?
I searched for myself in my area with my zip code, I did not appear and neither did my name. I am not sure why? I was not logged in as myself.

I spoke to a Rover representative yesterday regarding a similar concern -- she advised me that since there are always new sitters applying that the names fluctuate frequently, that way the newer sitters have a chance of receiving clientele. She also mentioned that who shows up is very specific based on what the client's search terms are, such as how many pets, the dates, and specific requests, etc. Karen also makes a good point though, if you are new, it takes several days for your profile/background check to be approved before your profile will become visible.

How long ago did you register at the Rover site?
I have found that you may not show up towards the top of your city search if you are new(er) ... looks as if you pop up closer toward the top as you become more popular. Its a little confusing as I am only one of TWO in my small town, so when doing a search for my specific town, I SHOULD be one of the top two listed, but I'm not.... still a newbie.
