Could someone provide a list of vaccinations required for boarding clients?

Everyone says they require proof but no ever says what they should ask for. Rabies of course. Why doesn't Rover provide a list of the vaccinations that we should ask the client to provide proof of. I don't want to be slack or go overboard with too many requirements.

Rabies is a required vaccination in NY. Just the same, I ask owners to show current written proof from the Vet. of the following vaccinations from the owner: Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Leptospirosis, Bordatella, Canine Influenza.

You should ask for what the veterinarians in your geographical area recommend. So it will vary depending where you live. In our area they recommend the DA2PP vaccines for dogs (in addition to rabies). And we have it on our profile. (Some clients even show us proof of bordetella and leptospira because it depends on each dog's risk as determined by their vet).

I'm way more particular than most. I was a vet tech and have seen way too many horror stories of unvaccinated dogs. Also, my personal dog is my service dog, whose training is worth upwards of 20K. So I require proof of rabies, bordetella, canine influenza, and distemper-parvo. For cats, I require proof of rabies, feline leukemia vacc, and feline distemper.

In Colorado, the only mandatory vaccine is Rabies.
