diarrhea and vomiting?

I watched a dog for 4 days, and today I dropped her off at home. Now, I just recieved a call from the owner and he tells me that the dog was severely sick with diarrhea and vomitting. He said he was at the vet hospital waiting on tests to be done. He then asked me what was I feeding and all I fed her was her dog food and water nothing else. I took her for walks and to the dog park and that was all. She was fine. Happy. And now I feel like its my fault, I don't know what to expect now. Any feed back?

Another community member asked a very similar question a few minutes ago. It is my opinion that this is where your customer service skills will get a workout. Show your concern. Check in with your clients to see how the dog is doing. Do not try to defend yourself until they make an accusation. You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.

Also, people more educated than myself have suggested you call Rover support and explain the situation to them. This is what their insurance coverage is for.
