I can see messages and receive requests to watch dogs but i cant search dogs that need sitters and walkers and would like to look up dogs that need walked in my area.
Rover doesn't work that way, Client's don't have the ability to post their requirements, they need to search to find us the sitters.
Hi Jordan, Your profile started out great. Make sure to go in and complete it. Next, ask for "testimonials" from family, friends and anyone you have provided pet services for. The picture shows cute kitties. But, if you want to dog walk, you should have a picture of yourself with your dogs.
You can't search for someone needing dog walks on the rover site. We are all hosts providing pet services. So, you need to do your own advertising. Do you have business cards? Get some if not, then go to grooming salons, let your vet know the services you offer and ask to leave your cards. Also, leave them at pet friendly Hotels and Apartments. These are just a few places. Also, advertise on Nextdoor. Do a search in this forum as there have been plenty of suggestions on how to get business. Good Luck.
