how to search for a former sitter by NAME?

Hi Lyn - I agree, that would be really obnoxious. If you've had a stay with her in the past, you should be able to find her in your messages folder. When you're at the Rover.com homepage, click the little envelope at the top right of your screen. Then select the tab that says "Past Stays" and see if you can find her. If not, go to the "Archived Requests" folder. If she's not in either of those, she may have taken her profile off Rover.

Also, when you find a sitter you like, you can add them to your Favorites by clicking the little heart on their profile page (right next to the button on the right under their rates that says "Contact Sitter"). Then you can view your favorites by going to your Dashboard and scrolling down (this is also a good place to see sitters you've booked with before). Go to your Dashboard by clicking your name at the top right of the page and selecting "Dashboard" from the drop-down. I hope this was helpful. Good luck!
