I don't see an option to book a meet and greet with a sitter before scheduling a walk. Is there a way to book the meet and greet appointment so the sitter knows I would like to meet with them prior to having them walk with my dog?
Unfortunately there isn't an option to just schedule a Meet & Greet but most sitters understand an owner would want a Meet & Greet before booking. You can always send the request through for the walk and then ask them when they would be able to schedule a Meet & Greet in the initial message and that at least sets you up so the sitter understands where you are coming from.
Due to the rapid rate of job turnover of dog-walkers, there really needs to be a section on the website for Meet and Greet.
Is this even an option anymore? The original question was for scheduling a walk; hasn't this instant booking function resulted in not being able to simply contact a potential walker to inquire about a meet & greet?
