I am normally in Texas, but am in florida for a month and need a dog sitter. It says the sitter is too far away that I find here,can I temporarily change my location?
Hi yes you can change the address on your Rover profile so the sitter can see you how close you are to them.
Hi Janice! You can absolutely search for sitters in a different location. When you go to rover.com and click "search sitters" at the top, a box should pop up that asks what service you're looking for, the address, and the dates. Just enter the address or zip code of where you're staying in Florida, and you should be all set! If the box doesn't pop up, you should be able to change the address or zip code on the left under "Dog Boarding near."
Edit: Whoops I think I misunderstood you. You're looking for house sitting in a different area than where you live. In that case, go to rover.com and click on your name towards the top-right of the screen. It should give you a little drop-down menu. Click on Dashboard. On the next screen, click Edit Profile in the upper left. Change your address to your new address, then perform a search like usual.
