How can i find out if customers that have used Rover.com before have dogs that have caused problems?

I am currently sitting two dogs and the owner has used http://Rover.com two or three times in the past. One of the dogs is a bit aggressive toward men and I'm wondering if problems like these get documented somewhere. Is there a way to look up the sitters who watched these dogs before to see if any complaints/comments were made about the dogs?

Only Rover support can see all the details, including documentation. I'd suggest contacting them. While they probably will not divulge everything with you, they may share some insight. Another way to dig up some info is if when you hover over the photos in the dog's Rover photo album, note the name of the sitter and then try to search for them and contact them. This can be helpful before booking, but once they're in your care and you're observing issues, I wouldn't bother with this less reliable, more time consuming method.

I have watched several very troublesome dogs in the past. One dog nearly broke my back fence gate, chewed up many personal items, endless cleaning with fur. Rover is very unhelpful when it comes to this subject! They are on the clients side. They do not want sitters to know about troublesome dogs.

Interesting..thank you for the info!

Rover makes money from sitters, not clients, so they are very supportive of sitters. I have been a sitter since DogVacay, October 2015, (66 clients!) and Rover is incredibly supportive of me.

....There needs to be a sitter service that does this...We need to be able to rate puppers too, for our own safety!

Airbnb allows this so people can decide whether to accept a visitor. But they can't do a meet and greet, right? We can do a meet and greet. I would never accept a dog without one. I did once because it was just one night and it was a pit bull cross, nice dog, but I was terrified the whole time.

Also many sitters do not post stay pictures to their profiles and therefore they aren't posted to the clients profile so finding past sitters is difficult or at times impossible. And like the others have stated Rover support will not assist you nor share any dog review left by you or other sitters.

Good to know, thanks!

I have one owner who asked me not to make his dog's photos public. When you send pics they automatically go on the dog's profile. You have to uncheck the box under the pictures to make them private. I find out most everything about the dog when I do the Meet n Greet. Rover has been very helpful.
