Ways to improve a falling ranking?

Previously I was ranked between 2nd and 3rd in my zip code for Rover Sitters, and have been pretty busy booking visitors (currently 4 upcoming booked visits and 1 currently in progress). I have gotten all 5 star reviews, respond religiously within an hour of inquiries, send multiple photos to clients during stays, and book more than I archive- but unfortunately have fallen to about #12 for my area. Does anyone know of ways to improve this ranking? Or does the fact that I have a large number of upcoming bookings lower my ranking since I have less availablilty?

You're doing all you can to improve your ranking. I've had this problem with Rover as well. I am the most reviews of any sitter in my zip code but still appear on the second page of searches. Their search algorithm appears to be random and doesn't list sitters in any sort of ranking order. Be sure your calendar is up to date and just keep up with what you're doing - quick responses and booking as many stays as you can. Best of luck!

I looked at your profile. Just a question, how many sits have you done? I think the number of sit verse reviews might have something to do with it. You only have 3 verified reviews. I would seek out some testimonials and maybe ask your regular customers to help you with a review. I had dropped in rank once and that seemed to help me back up.

Thanks Amber! Thats a problem I have had too- A lot of my one time clients always promise to review but never end up following through... I will definitely make a harder push to get them :)
