Phone broken, dog-sitting stay tomorrow, what should I do?

My phone sporadically broke and I'm unable to use the Rover app although I have a dog-sitting stay for tomorrow. I'll definitely notify the owner about the mishap and still visit the dog, but will I be penalized in any way for not being able to physically click "start stay" on the app to say that I visited? Is there any way I can use my laptop to check in for the stays?
