My dog has diarrhea! He won't eat anything and can't keep anything in. He's looking really weak and I want to give him something to feel better but I have no idea how this happened. What do I do?
If this has been going on for more than a few hours or if the dog is clearly lethargic or vomiting as well, I would take him to the vet with a stool sample and see what they say.
Does your pup have a habit of chewing on things? Can he keep water down? Diarrhea, vomiting, anorexia and lethargy could be signs of a blockage. I would contact your veterinarian asap.
Definitely take your dog to the vet! This could be a very serious illness. Hope everything works out for you!
If it hasn't been happening for more than a day, take up food and water for 12 hours. Then, give them bland food. I gave my dog white rice and boiled chicken breast. Give a little water with it. I did this with my dog and it seemed to help.
