When can I wash my puppy?

Ideally, bathe your puppy once a month or so. You don't want to overbathe a puppy. Their skin has very important oils needed for skin and fur health. If bath is unavoidable, i.e., accidents or dirty, bathe with warm water, no shampoo. If pup smells, use puppy wipes and puppy perfume between baths.

It may be more important that you have a gentle puppy shampoo, right temperature water, soft towels to dry and brush than when you wash. http://www.peteducation.com/article.c... If the puppy needs a bath, make sure you're ready to make bath time fun and a positive experience.
