I just recently lost my dog

I just recently lost my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel needless to say we are all devastated. I ended up having to cancel a client because I was too emotional but just resumed with rover this past weekend. My question is, is there any way I can leave my dogs profile up but now indicate that I now only have one dog? I really don't want to take his profile down because he will always be my dog.....

Sorry for your loss. You can add captions to the photos of your dog (and other pictures). Perhaps you can note that he/she recently passed away - that way you can acknowledge there is now only one dog in the house, but you are still able to preserve your dog's memory. Additionally, you can note it in your profile.

I am deeply sorry for your loss, it's always terrible to lose a loved one and that most definitely includes our pets. Unfortunately, the reality of the situation is needing to remove their profile from your page. Because some clients will base who they pick on the number of pets that the sitter owns in their household, it's necessary that you provide this information accurately. It will help you book more clients and avoid any confusion. But be sure to take all the time you need during your grieving process and only commit to sitting again once you feel you are emotionally capable.
