My sitter charges $30 per night for house sitting. Rover wants me to pay $40 per night. What's up with that? How do I talk with a live person from Rover?

Nowhere on the rover site does it say that Rover charges an additional $10 over and above what the sitter's charge is for House sitting. The sitter charges $30 per night and I feel that is what I should be paying.

If you booked a sitter over a Holiday a Holiday rate may apply and Rover also adds a 5-7% fee. Call Rover support and they can explain the booking charges in detail [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team]

Rover charges fees to both parties. As a sitter Rover collects 20% for the $30 charge. The sitter would only walk away with $24.00 from the service provided.
