Requested testimonials--Why couldn't they leave one?

Hello, I just completed my profile and it is currently under review. Part of this process was to send requests to previous clients and family members/friends to write me a testimonial. I sent the requests via the Facebook link, and one of them said the following: "I would love to leave you a testimonial, but I can't figure out how to do so! I've searched the website and didn't find you on there?!? The link above took me to the App Store. Is there a direct link to where we can leave a testimonial?"

I told her that she couldn't find my profile because it was still being reviewed, and that I'd message her when it was up. That was the only thing I could think of to do. I tried the link that I sent her, and I got to my own profile dashboard. I sent myself a link via email and got the same thing.

Do they have to set up a http://Rover.com profile before they can give me a testimonial? Does my profile need to be up and running for it to work? If so, why do they have you request testimonials before the profile is approved? Did I do something wrong that I can fix?

I have been approved I sent my sister request she said she didn’t receive it.

Same problem here! How did they resolve it?

Hi Katie: I started Rover last year, and I had my profile approved first, and then sent out the testimonial requests. So I think you'd have to do have your profile approved/live first. Perhaps someone else did it differently and could help Katie?

I too think you might need to wait until you are approved. I am pretty sure that is how I did it as well

I don't recall if I requested testimonials before or after my profile was approved, but you do have to send people a specific link, not just a link to your profile. I've used the below to send emails to people and it provides them with a link that goes directly to the page where they can add a testimonial. They won't be able to do it without following the link from your request.
